Raven Guard Scout.

New members (Neophytes) of a an Astartes Chapter are placed into the 10th Company where they serve as scouts, doing reconnaissance and infiltration behind enemy lines as well as assassination. As the Scouts do not have the Black Carapace implant that allows them to move freely in Power Armour, they instead wear lighter Carapace Armour under Chameoline Cloaks. Most are armed with Sniper Rifles or Shotguns, though some use Bolters. Scouts learn valuable combat skills during their time in the 10th company, and traditionally ‘graduate’ to service in Tactical or Devastator squads.

Non-Codex Chapters have different standards for Scouts; the Space Wolves only allow veteran Battle-Brothers to serve as Wolf Scouts, for example. The Black Templars do not have Scouts at all, instead throwing their Neophytes into battle with their regular troops.

Corvus Corax, Primarch of the XIX Legion.

The birth pod containing Corax came to land on a moon named Lycaeus, which orbited the planet Kiavahr. Populated by criminals, political dissidents and undesirables, exiled by the wealthy, technocratic government of Kiavahr, the inhabitants of Lycaeus were forced to toil in the mines of what was effectively a prison planet. Kept secret from the ruthless guards by the inmates and through his own mastery of stealth and innate ability to remain unseen when he desired, Corax matured and eventually led the planet in revolt, freeing the inmates and sending nuclear mining charges down to the planet below. The inhabitants of Kiavahr surrendered, and Lycaeus was renamed Deliverance. Shortly after, the fledgling Imperium rediscovered Kiavahr and Deliverance, and Corax joined his legion, the Raven Guard, as their Primarch, taking a number of his allies with him to become Astartes.
